H.E.A.T.

Check out this framework developed by Christopher Moersch, EdD. It is an expansion of the original LoTi (Levels of Technology Integration) framework developed in 1994. The goal was to help district leadership quantify how teachers are using technology in the classroom. This most recent framework, H.E.A.T.(Higher-order thinking, Engaged learning, Authentic Learning, and Technology Use) uses the NETS standards to enhance the previous framework. Educators can use this to evaluate what is going on in their schools.
